The Conservatoire successfully cooperates with different State Institutions. Many projects have been carried out with their support:
The Grand Hall was reconstructed in 1997.
The Tbilisi International Piano Competition is held (I-1997; II-2001; III-2005) under the patronage of the President of Georgia
The 2nd Symposium on Traditional Polyphony was held under the patronage of President of Georgia (2004);
Reconstruction of "Alexander Schuke Potsdam” Organ (Grand Hall) was carried out in 1998 under the support of the Parliament of Georgia and personal supervision of late Z.Zhvania with the Embassy of Federal Republic of Germany.
City Government of Tbilisi:
actively participates in the most important events of Conservatoire’s life, like:
- reconstruction of the Conservatoire.
- holding of international symposia on traditional polyphony
- partnership in concert life.
Besides, the City of Tbilisi is one of the founders of Georgian Music Competitions Fund together with the Ministry of Culture and Tbilisi State Conservatoire.
Ministry of Culture, Monuments Protection and Sport
financially supports different programmes, like:
- International Symposium on Traditional Polyphony;
- participation in reconstruction of Conservatoire (2005)
- support of International New Year Festival
Besides, Ministry of Culture is one of the founders of Georgian Music Competitions Fund together with the City of Tbilisi and Tbilisi State Conservatoire.
